No u!

I made this but alr
welcome to newgrounds! really interesting piece and composition, hope to see you active on here! :)
Thank you!! It'll probably take me a bit to figure out the ropes but I'm glad you like the art. Some of my inspirations were pilotredsun, Al Bird Dirt, Cruelty Squad, and Boisvert. I sort of grew up in the weird middle times between the fully corporate internet and the wild west web, so I adore weird design / otherwise abstractness which is what my art usually explores. It depicts otherwise unremarkable things such as the human face, or objects in a way that makes them grotesque.
one of the best landscapes ive seen in a while wowww
Thanks! I was actually feeling pretty insecure when making this, so I appreciate the comment <:]
that background is insane, im blown away by how well it fits the lighting of your character!
thanks so much!
this background is fire, i love the use of color and how clean it is, perfect amount of detail!
Thank you!

Thank you!

Thank youuuu~
Always a fun head game trying to figure out the tones for a piece!
this is a creative concept and i like the features of a betta fish you applied to make it clear this is inspired by them!
Thank you! ^^
how do you even figure out where to start with all these details? genuine question this shit is beautiful and i love it so much but i cant wrap my brain around how you would even begin to make this
Thanks so much, and honestly it's a lengthy process of planning.
Best way to start is a rough composition and messing around where you want to put all the characters/elements of the drawing. Thumbnail sketches are super useful at this stage.
You can see some of that and the drawing come together in the process screenshots.
Then block in the main parts, and work on those. The finest details come last, the important part is to have lighting and shapes filled in first!
Different people have different workflows so this is just my own.
Like I said in description, I worked on this drawing for a little over a year, but if I had the foresight I have now, I would zoom out the perspective a bit cause it feels kinda cramped but oh well, at least learned from it for next time.
That's what making mistakes is for, afterall : )
